BG is blank, a simple MC HDRI isn't that hard to make but would improve the image sevenfold. The stadium is too small (only saying this...

Mikor MGL-191 [WIP]
Figured I might as well add this to the collection since I barely post things to DA anymore and I need to show some sort of improvement to my modeling, hope this will suffice.
This is the Mikor MGL-191 and the model is based off of the ICS iteration since I was able to get my hands on that one and take my own reference photos. Obviously I've yet to add any major details (given the flat clip rotator and rail-less barrel supports) given to some extraordinarily challenging geo and time limitations.
Heavenly Drop by LordHayabusa357
Before I give feedback, I must say, given the tools used, and having used them myself, this is superior to a lot of work that usually comes out of it. That said, there still is much room for improvement. First of all, the lighting and its relativity to the background's composition is...quite strange. The background image dictates that there should be some amount of red light to allow for a beige color to show up. Although this does not impact the image incredibly, it still did annoy me. Finally the dust particle layers are too far apart in gauss blur values to tell much depth without straining the eyes too much. The orbs were very well done, I definitely envy your brushes that you used there. Color palette was very well done, nothing intruding and everything was very pleasant to look at. A great use of resources, your models did not seem to have any problems, and all texture maps were working properly and looked even better in the final image. If you notice, I gave you a 2.5 on originality, as, although this is your style, your style seems to be the same technique over and over again with only varying subjects and palettes. Very few times do I see you daring to try something new when I look through your newly published deviations in my inbox. Overall: by itself, the piece is pretty good, as per usual yet has a lot of room for improvement. As a fellow facepunch user, I hope you take my criticism to mind, and hey, maybe I'll even see some of your finished images in a thread. Thanks.
Nissan Sentra 2003-2006 Rims by XIGRAHAMIX
Nissan Sentra 2003-2006 Rims
Modeled these last night, took a few tries to get the 4 nut holes and 16 support holes in the metal. Pretty good exercise, as I'm pretty happy with my work.
Those that I follow who may even just glance at this journal know for a fact I am very active with a lot of your guys' content, and hey, thanks a bunch for creating and stuff. But alas, where have I been? Well, I've been busy attempting to find a therapist to finally sort some stuff out. I do work some, but a lot of my renders and pieces aren't incredibly good, as I've been really pushing myself these past few months. As far as new art and shit goes, I'll have some new renders and models hopefully being uploaded real soon. I mentioned in an earlier post that I got a sub to CC and I'm intending on using it. That's all for now, anyone who's reading (and if you are, thanks a bunch :))
